EasyPlay is simple but powerful Playlist Management software that is ideal for looping playback schedules ... or for individual event selection and playback

There is no time-of-day scheduling utility associated with this application.  You simply drag-and-drop files (pointers) into the list and start the playback.

File Formats: Using a RUSHWORKS MPEG/Graphics decoder card, you can play files with the following formats: MPEG-1, MPEG-2, BMP, JPG, TIF, GIF, TGA and RTF.

Using a 'VGA ONLY' output server, you can play any of the file formats supported by Windows Media Player.

Default Directories: You can attach up to seven Default Playout Directories by simply clicking the folder browse buttons to the right of each Default ... which can then be simply 'attached' by using the corresponding "F Keys".

In this example the looping content for all seven days of the week is accessed by simply dropping files into the designated Default Directory.

Select Directories or Playlists: Selecting a DIRECTORY (folder) is generally useful when you want to repeat (loop) the contents for a specified time.  Selecting a PLAYLIST loads a file that "points" to the respective locations of the files designated for playback.

A good example of PLAYLIST functionality is the preparation of daily classroom schedules by a teacher.  He/she can build and save a LIST of all the files to be used for a particular instruction session.  When the PLAYLIST is loaded, files can then be selected and played selectively, one at a time.  This Single-Play function is perfect as an instructional aid in presenting mixed media files to the class in support of the lesson plan.

Multi-Channel Playback:  With the appropriate hardware configuration you can output up to eight (8) channels of MPEG-2 playback for applications involving multi-screen displays.  The channels can be synchronized or controlled individually.

EPNews:  If you've got a news operation and need a simple, common-sense solution for creating a rundown list with manual or 'triggered' package playback ... this is the Solution for you!

This is NOT a fancy integrated newsroom software suite.  It IS an inexpensive and reliable playback mechanism that supports file-based (digital) playback of news packages between on-camera announcer lead-ins.

Network your NLE editing suites with the EPNews playout server to assure immediate access to packages ... either by transferring to the EPNews playout server or by playing from the NLE workstations directly over the network.

Trigger each package with the push of a button ... a manual switch ... or contact closure from your switcher.  After a package is played, it automatically switches back to your live set - so the transitions are seamless on the air.  The next package (file) is automatically cued and ready for triggered playback.

As with all our solutions, you can select the size of the picture icon (picon) that's displayed with each scheduled package playback.
